You need to select a Usage Profile which best describes how much you think you will download from the Internet. If you are unsure, you should probably select "Home Light" or "Home Medium". It may be worth discussing this with other members of your household as some activity (e.g. downloading movies online) can increase the usage significantly. This setting will NOT affect the pricing for 'unlimited' packages.

Migration Support Inbound and Outbound
What is this?

Migration is the process of moving a broadband service from one ISP to another, usually minimising the amount of disruption in the process. Inbound migration means your ISP will allow you to transfer to their service from another ISP. Outbound migration means you can transfer from their service to another ISP.

If your ISP doesn't support migration, you would need to cancel your broadband service, wait until it's removed from your line and then re-order with another ISP. This may cost most and will result in a longer period of no connectivity.

We recommend you choose an ISP which support both inbound and outbound migration.

Sales Telephone 0800 905 5700 (Free Call (e.g. 0800)) Mon - Fri (10:00 - 17:00) | Sat (Closed) | Sun (Closed)
Support Telephone 0333 773 7700 (Non-geographic "lo-call" (e.g. 0845)) Mon - Fri (10:00 - 17:00) | Sat (Closed) | Sun (Closed)

During my first 3 months I had an outage of several hours one evening/night. It may have been entirely an Openreach problem and not a Uno problem but I had no way of telling because of the second problem. Telephone support is only available 10:00 to 17:00, Mon to Fri. and it was working again before 10:00 next day. Telephone support only being available for 23.8% of the hours in a week is not good :-( email support is claimed to always be available but the time delays in email support may be fine for non-critical problems but not 100% outage.

We have left Uno this month due to on goping issues with email and their inability or lack of interest in trying to resolve the issues - which have been going on for approx 12 months

Unfortunatell we are hitting too many email issues - lost emails. Secondly the new webmail system they are introducing is loosing attachments - they say nothing they can do quote "its like a new washng machine, doesn't work like the old one" Unfortunately the "new machine"" isn't doing the basics - poor analogy!

we are having to look elsewhere -its a pity as have been with them for 10 years

Have been getting emails bounced back due to false negatives on their Mailguard system. Uno would get 1/10 for their proactive support, almost a case of not wanting to know. Been going on for over a month, plus their reaction was originally the Maliguard system was accessible to clients via their Cpanel, and its intuitive to use!!!

Somewhat arrogant
