CityFibre full year 2025 results released

Wholesale alt-net CityFibre has released its full-year results to date ending 31st December 2025, and it shows the company has now exceeded 20% penetration across its consumer FTTP footprint. The company has confirmed that with £2.3bn of financing agreed during the year, they have a renewed ambition to consolidate the sector and extend their services across more of the UK. We track CityFibre rollout as ready for service at 4.33m, slightly behind the official RFS figure of 4.5m.

CityFibre Full Year 2025 in stats:

  • Revenue: £170m (up 27%)
  • New consumer connections: 330k (up 82%)
  • Total consumer connections: 848k (up 64%)
  • Total premises RFS: 4.5m (up from 4.1m, 10% increase)
  • Thinkbroadband premises RFS: 4.32m (up from 3.8m, 14% increase)
  • Installing 50,000 customers on average each month in Q4
  • Record 119,000 new customer connections in Q4 2025
  • 10Gbps XGS-PON now offering symmetric multi-gig, 2.5 and 5.5Gbps speeds across the network
  • £500m new equity from shareholders
  • £960m of debt, with an £800m accordian for M&A (£300m already committed)

The company has stated that they are looking to be the leading competitor to Openreach and will do this by expanding their network to reach 8m UK premises.
