Starlink simplifies business plans

Starlink has revamped its business plans to simplify the packages offered. Prior to the changes its options included:

Fixed Site

• Priority 40GB — £80/month
• Priority 1TB — £150/month
• Priority 2TB — £300/month

Land Mobility and Maritime plans

• Mobile Priority 50GB — £206/month
• Mobile Priority 1TB — £808/month
• Mobile Priority 5TB — £4,038/month

The plans have now been simplified, and include a lower cost option for businesses with a fixed location, although “single country land use and regional travel” is supposedly supported, including in-motion use. The Global Priority option on the other hand can be used by maritime users going further afield.

Local Priority

• Local Priority 50GB — £39/month
• Local Priority 500GB — £99/month
• Local Priority 1TB — £174/month
• Local Priority 2TB — £324/month

Global Priority

• Global Priority 50GB — £206/month
• Global Priority 500GB — £530/month
• Global Priority 1TB — £935/month
• Global Priority 2TB — £1,745/month

The new 50GB Local Priority package is considerably less than Starlink has been available for before, and appears to be even less than the current home packages which start at £75/month. Obviously, you need to factor in hardware which can range from £300 to £1,200.
