Vodafone now selling full fibre using Community Fibre XGS-PON network

It was announced a few weeks ago and now it is a reality, Vodafone has a range of full fibre services with symmetric speeds over the Community Fibre network in London with the fastest retail product being a 2.2 Gbps service for £60/month.

The entry level service is a 150 Mbps download and upload product for £23/month. Remember to factor in the planned price rises which are currently an extra £3/month in April 2026 and a further rise of £3 again in April 2027.

This means Vodafone is now retailing full fibre using a mixture of the CityFibre, Community Fibre and Openreach networks. Our footprint analysis gives them a full fibre reach of 21.66 million premises as of the morning of Thursday 28th August 2025. Vodafone has sold via CityFibre and Openreach for a long time now, and once you take into account the overlap between the Community Fibre, CityFibre and Openreach full fibre footprints the addition of Community Fibre has increased their reach by over 550,000 premises.

Our broadband API has been updated to handle the new retail option with version 2.87 released today, and after publishing this news item we will be adding new products to product pages for Vodafone. As of 1pm the new products are in our Vodafone product pages.

In areas where CityFibre, Community Fibre or Openreach overlap each other Vodafone will defer to the CityFibre network, then Community Fibre and finally the Openreach full fibre service.
