Overnight we suffered a rare crash which affected our broadband quality monitoring. Users of this will notice that their graphs from today will be blank up until 0945 this morning at which point normal service will have resumed. The device itself rebooted but our monitoring did not trigger any sensors on this as the outage for the actual device was so short. We will be improving the monitoring of this.
You can still see recent previous graphs as per normal, and today’s graph will only have data from approximately 0945. Follow the link to “show previous days” under your broadband quality graph list to data for yesterday or older.
If you don’t already use our broadband monitoring it is a useful free tool which checks your broadband service once per second and measures the response time which is then graphed. This can be useful to detect outages or help identify trends or problems such as slow speeds or packet loss. Read here a more detailed explanation of our broadband quality monitor.
It appears some more recently created graphs were not re-enabled. This has now been resolved.
