BT Wholesale has announced another 72 RFS dates via its registration scheme.

BT Wholesale has released a batch of RFS dates, for exchanges that are to be enabled via Partnership schemes.

As of 21:00 on Monday 29th, BT was given clearance to access the fire damaged area.

A fire in underground tunnels in Manchester has caused damage to cabling which has been affecting ADSL connections in the Manchester area since the early hours of Monday morning.

BT Wholesale has released another large batch of RFS dates. Also Donna Young, General Manager, Broadband Britain, BT Wholesale has issued a statement regarding the delays in the release of RFS dates.

Torpoint users have been waiting for BT to announce a ready-for-service date since July last year when the exchange reached its trigger level and it has been one of the longest delays, although fortunately most exchanges are not affected in this way. Today, BT announced that the RFS date for Torpoint is set at March 24th.

Kingston Communications has released a list of 13 East Yorkshire villages that will soon get its ADSL broadband service.

BT Wholesale have announced another 25 RFS dates earlier today with all exchanges expected to be active on July 7th.

Back in November last year, BT announced an RFS date of March 10th for Wem but unfortunately problems have arisen which have resulted in a delay. This will affect around forty users who have scheduled installation dates and is only the second time according to BT that an RFS date has been set back.
