Proposals to improve consumer rights by EU

It is not totally clear with new EU proposals how strongly 'should' will be enforced, but the list of changes to contracts for telecoms services in the EU is extensive, though in many cases builds on work that Ofcom has done in the past.

Superfast West Yorkshire aiming for 97% fibre based coverage

Bad broadband in East Cleveland – stand up and be counted

The majority of the BDUK work is nothing to do with rural areas, as the majority of the coverage is in what is strictly classed as semi-urban. The real rural projects are those under the RCBF umbrella and East Cleveland are looking to get a scheme up and running to help that area.
