TOTSCo 2026 pricing

TOTSCo have confirmed that pricing for using the switching platform will remain unchanged for 2026, and stay at the current £0.28 unit charge per residential customer and £350 subscription fee per RCPID.

River Severn Partnership Completes Mobile Coverage Survey

The River Severn Partnership has completed a mobile coverage survey with Streetwave to record the mobile signal coverage across 31,780km of the road network, in 33 councils in the West Midlands and Wales. Bin lorries in the area were fitted with sensors to detect the coverage levels.

EE came out with the highest level of ‘Essential Coverage’ at 80%, followed by Vodafone at 69% and EE were also the fastest. It’s worth noting, however, that mobile coverage is always changing as networks deploy new technologies such as 5G. Vodafone/Three users will also be now experiencing improved coverage as work continues to allow the Vodafone and Three networks to share coverage.

Wessex Internet appoints Jarlath Finnegan as NED

Alt-net Wessex Internet has announced the appointment of Jarlath Finnegan as a Non-Executive Director. Jarlath has worked within Telecom and Energy for over 20 years and recently held the position of Group CEO at AllPoints Fibre, helping to integrate Giganet, Jurassic Fibre, Swish Fibre and Cuckoo.
