It is DSLAM upgrade time again

Yes it is that time again, Fujitsu based exchanges should be having some upgrade work done between now and September 10th. These upgrades will only affect users who are on exchanges that have a
Fujitsu DSLAM and should occur between the hours of 2am and 6am and result in a short outage of 10 to 20 minutes.

It is worth checking when your exchange is due to be upgraded as the advice is that if you dont disconnect due to the upgrade that it is advisable to disconnect and reconnect after the
upgrade.

Phase 1 3rd – 5th September – here

Phase 1 covers upgrades to the firmware on the DSLAM and phase 2 is upgrades to the line cards.
