The Register this morning officially launched its ISP service vcisp.net with both
broadband and dialup services.

The ADSL product is based around the IP Stream Home 500 service and costs £25.99 inc VAT a month, although nothing special, it is interesting to see which companies are now getting into the
ADSL market. The service has a 1 month minimum contract and the £65 activation fee is only paid on successful activation. They are also embracing the self-install philosophy with users having
freedom to supply their own hardware.

Time will tell whether the market place is growing enough to support all the new startup ADSL providers and resellers.
