Problems synching with Alcatel USB ADSL modem?

Amongst our deluge of mail today was a message that users of the Alcatel USB ADSL modem (‘stingray’) who are having exchange synchronisation problems may want to check which version of the drivers
they are using. If you are using the v1.3.4 drivers then try upgrading to the v1.4 and v1.6 drivers.

The later drivers apparently sync better when the line drops and tries to resync. Most people should be on the v1.4 drivers by now but if an ISP/supplier has old stock it’s possible that the older
v1.3.4 drivers may have slipped out of the door.
