We're very happy that at 9.30pm, hundreds of users are frequenting our site. As some of you may have noticed, the messageboards are slowing down making them very difficult to navigate through. We *are* aware of the problem and we're addressing it but it will take some time.
The cause is the sheer load on the MySQL back-end. The ideal solution would be to split the load over two servers. In the short run, upgrading both processors and memory may ease the situation.

I hope all the users will bear with us. We'd like to buy a quad-xeon server tomorrow but the ads just don't pay enough :-p [seb]
