Fleckney suffers RFS setback

BT Wholesale has had to change the Ready For Service date for Fleckney (East Midlands) due to problems discovered when carrying out the upgrade work for the exchange. The exchange was originally
due to go live on 29th October, this will now move to 17th December 2003.

A collapsed duct was discovered which will mean new ducting has to be put in place. This would be relatively straightforward apart from the fact that the ducting runs under a set of three way
traffic lights, and therefore the local council is now involved.
