Additional Comments

IDNet’s plans are designed for people who value a stable and quality connection, low latency and strong customer service. Many of its users are remote workers, gamers or small business owners who need consistent speeds rather than headline numbers that drop off at busy times.

One of the most appealing things about IDNet is the way it handles contracts. Customers can choose short or longer terms, and the company promises no price rises during the agreed period. They also offer static IP addresses as standard, which is quite rare for a home broadband service, and their support team is based in the UK. Reviews often highlight how quickly internet connection problems are resolved and how knowledgeable the technical support staff are, which is a refreshing change compared with larger providers where you might be passed between departments.

In terms of performance, the service tends to live up to its claims. Because IDNet uses full fibre networks, the connection runs directly into the home and avoids the bottlenecks seen with older copper-based setups. Upload speeds match downloads, which is especially useful for video calls, cloud backups or sharing large files. Installation is generally straightforward, and customers tend to say that engineers turn up on time and do a tidy job. Once connected, the speed and reliability remain steady and a good service is provided even when several people are online at once.

Brilliant customer service during a recent BT outage. Full information and even a follow up call to check everything was OK

Oct 2021. Had a problem, a rare event. Sorted quickly and efficiently by knowledgeable staff. Which is what usually happens. They might be slightly more expensive, but it's worth it.

Consistent speed, reliable connection, rarely have any problems, but if I do then they are sorted out by a knowledgeable UK based support team What more could you ask for?

Had several disconnections, all around 21:00 lasting for upto 45 minutes. Reported to IDNET who confirmed after a test that there were no line issues. However these tests were made during working hours the following day. perhaps a test during down time might have been more productive. Rebooting the TP-link router did not resolve issues; all equipment affected, laptops, desktops, android tablets. smartphones. No action taken, but system has been relaible since

Been with Idnet for almost 15 months and so far I have no complaints. The Couple of times I've needed to contact support they have dealt with the matter efficiently. Not the cheapest I could buy, but I am more than happy to pay the extra for the reliability.

We moved to IDNet about 2 weeks ago and I have been impressed so far. The communication and switchover process was pretty seamless. Phone support to answer my questions was great. The line speed is an improvement on my previous supplier and right at the top end of what is available. So far very happy.
