Mountwood exchange has been on the list of Fibre First exchanges for a while and at last is seeing chunks of the area go live for Openreach FTTP.

The majority of properties that were stuck with ADSL2+ from cabinet 2 on the Great Bentley exchange now have access to FTTP.

Another month has passed and another 145,546 premises are passed by Openreach FTTP. This is the lowest monthly total found since our 12th July 2020 update.

The stop sell for copper voice and broadband services in Salisbury over the Openreach network has started.

Another busy month for Openreach FTTP bringing the footprint we have tracked down to a total of 3,215,254 premises.

The list of exchanges where stop sell notices have been issued by Openreach has grown by 51 to 169 now. The latest 51 will see analogue services not being provisioned in 12 months time.

Openreach has announced passing some 420,000 premises in Northern Ireland with FTTP and is aiming for 60% coverage by end of March 2021.

Alloway, Lancaster and Wraysbury are just three of the 67 new areas where Openreach has announced it will roll out FTTP in the next two years.

The race towards the goal of 4.5 million premises passed by the end of March 2021 continues for Openreach. We look at the types of areas they are deploying FTTP.

Coventry has a number of Fibre First exchanges and Openreach has announced their build has passed more than 40,000 homes and businesses.
