Openreach has announced passing the 55,000 premises milestone across Oxfordshire.

Coverage of full fibre in Lossiemouth may be at over 2,100 premises passed but as yet only around 315 have opted to upgrade to the service.

Openreach is saying that only 1 in 10 of those in Alnwick with access to FTTP have decided to upgrade compared to 41% of those in the wider Northumberland area.

CityFibre is declaring its big build in Inverness complete and over 28,000 premises now have access to its wholesale FTTP network.

The most full fibre on the Openreach network we had found previously in a month was 336,452 premises in May 2022. The new figure is 350,044 premises found in the 31 days since 12th January 2023.

The CityFibre FTTP roll-out in Harrogate and Knaresborough are well mapped, and hopefully we will soon start to find the first postcodes in Ripon.

CityFibre says thousands of homes in Rugby can order its symmetric FTTP services, but we need your help as we've not spotted any yet.

March, Cambridgeshire is the latest town where we've seen CityFibre arrive with their full fibre network.

Salisbury and Mildenhall were set to be the first two areas where the old copper PSTN voice network would be switched off but it is taking longer than expected to get people to adopt the replacement services, so changes to make the need to switch more obvious will happen.

CityFibre is now building FTTP at a pace that firmly locks it in place as the second largest FTTP network in the UK.
