The amount of time our news editor Andrew Ferguson (MrSaffron) has been putting into ADSLguide both in writing news items and on the forums, you wouldn't have suspected he was about to become a father, yet that's precisely what happened this morning.

Our latest poll closed on 1st November first, and results are now available.

A new poll is running on ADSLGuide, it is looking to see what people would like to see in 2005. Faster upstream speeds, or concentrate on pushing the download bandwidth beyond 2Mbps.

A review of the Netgear 4-port ADSL modem/router has been added to the list of hardware reviewed.

ADSLguide has been running for over four years now and during this time we have evolved from a small experimental fun site to one serving hundreds of thousands of users each month. Many people have contributed to the site in different ways during this time. Jeremy joined us at the end of 2000 and has been with us for over three years. He has been involved with everything from hardware reviews through to back-end programming, system administration and the speed tester. He has been instrumental in the scaling of the site from just another site to one balanced over a growing infrastructure.
