The CityFibre rollout of FTTH continues with a section of Southend now with premises passed and able to order the Vodafone Gigafast service.

The 13 villages covering some 38,000 premises were announced as part of an Openreach FTTP trial back in October 2019 and now we can report seeing live premises in all thirteen exchange areas.

Openreach has issued a statement saying they have reach the two million premises passed mark for full fibre. Our own tracking of their builds in both rural and urban UK is showing a figure of 1,804,175 premises.

We learnt that the first area of Leeds to get the Vodafone Gigafast treatment from CityFibre was live this week and the footprint that we can find is now on our maps and in the checker.
