Old TV wipes out broadband but FTTP on way to Welsh village
Residents of a small village in Wales on the end of 6 or 7 kilometres of copper cable used to have their broadband wiped out everyday and Openreach traced the fault to an old television set.

Another 1 percent point increase and this latest jump from 15% to 16% has taken 43 days, which is five days faster than the jump from 14% to 15%.
New build homes coverage update – August 2020
Our quarterly summary of what is available to new build homes reveals that 2020 does appear to show an improvement in the amount of full fibre available by default, but we are still 13% short of the magic 100% target.
