Wireless Broadband Week – Reminder

Next week is Wireless Broadband Week, where providers such as BT Openzone are offering free access to their range of wireless hotspots for users who sign up for the trial. BT has only just announced it will be adding 13 railway stations to the network by spring with major commuter stations both inside and outside London.

The Access to Broadband Campaign is hosting a conference entitled "Revolution at the Edge: Broadband Networks and Innovation" on 27th and 28th of January near London. The organisers are looking for a small number of representatives from small-to-medium sized businesses employing five or more people to attend the session on business applications on day 2 to tell people how broadband has made a difference to their day-to-day business.
