We could have reported on this earlier but it was possible the issues we were seeing were genuine updates happening during the day, but now with the problems now ongoing for a few hours we are adding a news item.
It is not clear exactly what the full scope of issues are with BT Consumer and Business websites but there seems to be issues with package searches, so people clicking through from our listings are failing to see the correct packages as the BT address search system is down. BT, EE and Plusnet all appear to be affected.

The problem with the BT/EE and Plusnet websites continues, with error or maintenance pages showing. The issue is believed to be related to a supplier platform, and the current estimated resolution time at 13:30 was 12-20 hours.


Update 8:15pm Service has returned to normal it appears for the BT and EE sites.
As an ordinary customer all I can see is a downhill slope. Customer Service has fallen since this merger, BT were up with the market leaders. Since E E came on the scene the C S has failed big time. Today, they have refused to take my problem can you call us back? when I finally got through, hardly the Hi Tec image in the 21st Century.
I’m amazed you can see a difference tbh. They’ve been terrible for years. Having worked with BT Retail, Wholesale and Openreach professionally their customer service has always not been the best. We had to repeatedly escalate stuff 3 and 4 times just to get updates. Nobody does their job at BT besides sales.
Sure is having a huge affect with the Community Forum, not displaying at times and secure logon is NON functional. The EE website is just as bad but that has been like this for eons. Help does not work….
I ran out of data and due to these issues I couldn’t even purchase any additional data add ons which affected my job today. Awful!
