Proposal to apply Code powers to Jet Network Solutions

Ofcom has today published a consultation (somewhat of a formality but the process by which it notifies of its intention) on applying code powers to Jet Network Solutions. This is a relatively routine process we don’t always cover, however what is interesting (more than the code powers) is what Jet does, namely installing wireless network solutions including 5G Networks in some interesting locations.

They carry out work on behalf of all the major mobile networks in the UK.

We’re not sure if ‘terminal 1’ at Heathrow (which has been closed for longer than Jet was founded) is an error, or if they did indeed install equipment for the building which is still maintained for purposes of baggage processing for Terminal 2.
