Sean Royce who has lead Quickline since 2021 is retiring from his CEO role having taken the company through a period of significant growth.
The new CEO is set to be Mark Bowden, who joined Quickline as its Chief Financial Officer earlier this year and Martin Cook is promoted to Chief Financial Officer.

Sean Royce is set to work with Quickline still but in the role of Strategic Board Advisor.
“We remain on track with our full fibre rollout, having secured four large BDUK Project Gigabit contracts, and are one of the few ISPs that are fully funded, having completed a major debt financing deal in 2024.“We’ve built strong foundations and a team passionate about connecting rural communities. With Mark and Martin stepping into their new roles, Quickline is in excellent hands for the next stage of its journey”
Sean Royce, outgoing CEO, Quickline
“Under Sean’s leadership, the business has achieved incredible momentum, and I’m looking forward to working with Martin and the wider team to build on that success, connecting even more rural homes and businesses and delivering a first-class customer experience”
Mark Bowden, incoming CEO, Quickline
Our map of the Quickline full fibre footprint that includes their work on the four Project Gigabit contracts they hold, includes the recently announced villages in the East Riding of Yorkshire and we expect to see this footprint grow by another few thousand premises with further updates this week.
