Fixed: BT ADSL Authentication ProblemsBT have today reported to ISPs at 12pm a problem which is affecting users on any ISP across multiple exchanges. The problem was reported to have started at 06:33 this morning, and is still under investigation.
Below is a copy of the e-mail that was sent to ISPs last updated at 13:46 today.

The latest progress report we have been advised of, was received at around 19:00, is as below. Unfortunately, BT have still not disclosed an Anticipated Clear Time.
"We are currently working on corrective action, which will continue overnight. Unfortunately, this will mean that some end users will experience outages for up to 1 hour as the systems are reset."
Update - 11:59 11/02/03
BT advised service providers at about 11:15am this morning that the work was completed on fixing the exchanges at 09:45. This should resolve all problems that have been occuring with Authentication. If you previously had a problem which started yesterday, and are still experiencing issues, contact your service provider for further advice as your issue may be seperate from that of this Major Outage.
