Virgin Media customers have been left without TV, Internet and Video on-demand services after a suspected arson attack knocked out power to 60,000 homes in Manchester city centre, Salford, Bury
and Wigan last night. Power was completely restored by 9pm, and most users were restored cable service by 2am.
Readers at The Register believed that Virgins problems were caused by the air
