Telewest completes speed upgrade programme

It seems fair to say, that the broadband picture in the UK has changed immensely in the last eighteen months. One sign of this is that Telewest has finished its rolling upgrade across the regions it offers its broadband service in. This means Telewest broadband Internet customers now have a 2Mbps, 4Mbps or 10Mbps
product choice.

Customers previously on the lowest speed package 0.5Mbps were upgraded to 2Mbps staying at a price of £17.99 per month, 1Mbps customers jumped to 4Mbps for £25 per month, and the
premium product is now the 10Mbps service which costs only £35 per month. The company has retained its policy of no imposed usage restrictions across its one million customers.
