PlatformX Communications becomes an ISPA partner

PlatformX Communications (PXC), the wholesale arm which has been separated from TalkTalk, has announced they have partnered with ISPA to try and strengthen its reach within the ISP sector and to become the “go-to alternative networks aggregator”. PXC says it already offers its nearly 1,000 partners access to a large fibre marketplace, including many alt-nets, such as CityFibre, MS3, and Freedom Fibre but also the Openreach platform, allowing ISPs a one stop shop that can offer fibre to a large proportion of the UK.

“A key part of PXC’s strategy is to become the UK’s leading alternative networks aggregator platform and offer The Channel, and the UK businesses it serves, the most reliable fibre connectivity, at the best prices. The forum ISPA has created, and the work they’re doing to encourage the market to work closer together, plays into our strategy and we’re really excited to be able to work with them to share our story and join their mission.”

Katie Crellin, Head of Regulation, Policy and Compliance (PXC)

“ISPA is delighted to have PXC join as a partner of our association. Our association is based on shared goals and collaboration from across the UK’s internet sector and PXC, as an aggregator between fibre networks and ISPs, and an organisation who is committed to championing the sector, makes them an ideal fit for our association. We are excited to have them become part of our community and look forward to working with them into the future.”

Krystian Heald, Head of Partnerships (ISPA UK)

ISPA launched its partnership programme four years ago to collaborate with key partners whose products and services can help address the challenges faced by its members. The programme offers partners year-round exposure to ISPA’s community, providing benefits such as brand awareness, lead generation, and deeper engagement. ISPA currently works with 13 partners, including CPE manufacturers such as TP-Link and Linksys, as well as network hardware manufacturers, SaaS and providers who can offer end-to-end platforms for altnets. PXC will also be joining nexfibre who are also a partner, although it’s noted that PXC doesn’t currently retail the nexfibre network. This is perhaps one of the largest wholesale networks missing from the PXC platform.
