Easynet Looking To Triple Customer Base

Easynet who currently has 2000 DSL customers are looking to greatly increase this with their LLU expansion plans.

On Reuters Easynet are saying they will need to install it’s equipment in upto 200 BT exchanges to provide national coverage and this will require revenue of around £50,000 per exchange. The
average customer spend is estimated at £2000 per year, so would require 25 users per exchange.

In a comment about Marconi it is said that there are no implications for Easynet over Marconi’s problems, since with the IPSaris deal Marconi’s voting rights are limited to 49.9 percent.
