USB ADSL Service

Sources from an undisclosed ISP have stated that there are “about 4” exchanges in the country that are able to use a USB setup. The current network trial is well underway at many ISP’s and it seems
that any launch dates specified for the end of June 2000 / July 2000 will be for the Networked version where the cheapest (512kbit/s) service costs between £98 – £150 per month.

From what I can tell the USB service will not properly be released until possibly September at the earliest if the estimate that 4 exchanges are able to handle this service, at present, are
correct.
