EE partners with Debrett’s and Grime Gran to launch Mind Your Manners guide to shut down scammers
EE is seeing one million scam calls every day and has decided to partner with etiquette experts Debrett’s and Grime Gran to launch a modern etiquette guide to help people spot and stop scammers this Christmas.
“Scams are growing in sophistication – and our network must stay one step ahead. For EE, taking a stand against scams means leading the way to invest in advanced scam protection and education, so customers can feel safer on our network. We believe that fraud can only be fought together, and EE is proud to be part of a cross-industry alliance to share intelligence on scams. Our latest team up with Debrett’s and Grime Gran sends a clear message: no matter your style, everyone can do their bit to spot and stop scams.”

Virgin Media O2 partners with Action for Children this Christmas
Virgin Media O2 employees have donated more than 450 Christmas gifts to Action for Children across the UK as part of the charity’s annual Giving Trees initiative. Trees were displayed at offices, including Manchester, Reading, Birmingham and Paddington, and Virgin Media O2 employees were able to pick a card from a Christmas tree which had a present request written on the back from a child or young person supported by Action for Children.
“We are very grateful to the staff at Virgin Media O2 who are showing up for vulnerable children and their families when they need it most.
For many of the 4.5 million UK children now living in poverty, Christmas is anything but magical. No stockings. No presents. No festive food - often no food at all. Imagine your first memories of Christmas being going to bed hungry and being too cold to sleep.
Thanks to their present donations to our services across the UK, Virgin Media O2 will help the children and the families we support feel the magic of Christmas.”
Catherine Joyce, National Director of England, Action for Children
