Ofcom proposes to apply code powers to Baltic Broadband

Ofcom has today published a consultation to apply code powers to Baltic Broadband Ltd. Code powers are granted by Ofcom under Section 107(6) of the Telecommunications Act 2003 which allow telecommunications operators to roll out network infrastructure a bit like gas and water companies, skipping certain planning permission requirements.
