2025 is off to a flying start with a full percentage point of full fibre coverage appearing in our data as we track the various roll-outs, and if there all the different networks were to co-operate and not overbuild we could have seen an almost two point increase in full fibre coverage.

London gets a mention as there is a big drop in the Gigabit coverage for Greater London of 0.2 points, we know the reason and that is because we’ve done a sweep across the whole of the UK verifying older parts of our Virgin Media footprint and while there was some corrections in all the other regions London had enough changes that the Gigabit coverage figure dropped. In many cases it looks like there had been indications previously that Virgin Media was available to buy in the postcode but it is now not available.
