The Fibre First build in Edinburgh has been underway since the start of the Fibre First programme and they are not finished yet.

Northern Ireland is currently the best region for access to full fibre and with another 94 areas announced by Openreach it looks likely to retain that crown.

Plusnet may have reduced its pricing for new customers so ADSL2+ is available from £17.99/m but there has been a corresponding drop in the value of the reward card new customers receive.

Virgin Media seems to have had another outage and while lockdown is not as strict now, it is likely that the hot weather will have made this latest outage a little bit more frustrating.

Some EE mobile customers will now get discounts of £2.50/m to £5/m on the EE fixed line broadband products, but this has been balanced out by a rise in the prices.
