In the many years that I have been with BT, I have have had few issues - and they were administrative, not performance related: I'm happy to stay with them.

I am on fttc service and get 70/18 so no complaints there. Not had any reason to use customer service o can’t comment. My service is very reliable.

I am now paying £40/m odd for a 14Mb service! Of course BT are delighted but the reality is that Ofcom allows them to make these price hikes every year for what is, really, a completely indifferent service. It is absurd that customers who are loyal to their provider end up paying though the nose for a rubbish service.

I recently had a complete outage of my service. It was a wholly external fault related to the network yet BT could not give any idea of when it would be resolved. Communication was poor, I did all the running in terms of checking status to find a solution yet it was beyond my control. Eventually we were without broadband for an extremely frustrating 7 days. I’ll be switching providers when my tie-in is over.

Yet again changes are being made without reference to customers. I had one idiot telling me that changes were due to "technology" when we all know it is due to their money hungry executives looking to make even more money for their shareholder parasites.

The customer service has drastically gone down hill, they re contracted me without my authority causing an increase of over £40 per month and took over a month with numerous phone call (ie several hours on phone) to get it sorted but am restricted from moving to new provider
