Improved information for Openreach stop sell on postcode search

To help people understand better what services are available to them we have made several changes to our local information site.

With the Openreach stop-sell dates impacting more copper-based services as time flies by, in addition to previously telling people about the exchange-wide status and expected stop-sell date, for an individual postcode search we have updated the broadband technology and information published to make it clear as to why copper services such as FTTC and ADSL2+ are no longer available for new orders.

We have also added two more full-fibre networks to our maps, with Axione and Voneus fibre to the premises appearing. As they’ve just appeared it is almost certain that we still need to get every location mapped, so if you are using one of those services (or any other FTTP service) that we still need to map then drop us an email.

  1. CityFibre has been available in NR6 for months now but your database does not show this.

  2. The map and by virtue has cityfibre in parts of NR6 so example of specific postcode is needed, there are chunks of coming soon which we obviously don’t show as live

  3. Map will update later today, busy day with 7,000 premises of CityFibre footprint added in NR6 and other areas
