A motion voted in by delegates on Sunday at the Labour Party Conference has resurrected the 2019 manifesto plan to deliver full fibre to every home in the UK with no monthly cost.

The UK has crossed the 50% milestone for Gigabit coverage meaning more properties have the option of the service than those that do not.

After a slow August the pace at which we are finding full fibre has improved and so it is after 40 days we see the next percentage point increase in UK full fibre availability.

The roll-out of full fibre continues though no records are broken this month due to the growing trend for popular areas to see two or three FTTP networks arrive.

Since our last update in June the number of new premises in our database includes some 44,000 premises marked as new homes for 2021.

After several months of record growth in the amount of Openreach full fibre found we've seen a big drop in the monthly total and we don't believe it is all due to taking some annual leave in July.
