Setup — There are mixed messages on the website and terms ranging from no setup/activation fees and free delivery of router to set-up/deliery £9.95 plus £10 activation "may be required". Non-standard set-up may cost extra. We are listing as zero setup as product page included this statement as of 20/04/2025 however please check during your order.

Living in a rural location we get dreadful download speeds and upload speed is virtually nil, yet we still have to pay premium prices for our service. It isn't right that towns and cities get faster and faster services for much lower cost. NowTv is ok, but service is mediocre and doesn't seem to improve over time. We get much the same speed now as we had 6 or 7 years ago. Our phone line is always very crackly but reporting this never makes any difference. Openreach engineers turn-up, tell us we have an old copper cable (the self-burying type) and the won't replace it so we just have to lump it! As we don't even get a decent mobile signal we need our landline - it's like the telecomms companies think we should just pay over the odds and put up with whatever they deign to provide. NOT HAPPY.

Changed over to Vodafone Fibre service for £10 per month less than from NOW - supposed to go live on 27-Jun-24. Openreach were 1st class, but I did not receive the router from Vodafone until the 30-Jun-24. Vodafone support services were helpful and got things sorted. However, Vodafone are supposed to pay £6.10 per day for every day loss of service. I lost 3 days, so I should get a refund of £18.30, but I have not received anything. The service is supposed to supply Fibre service at >=100 Mbps, but it fluctuates wildly from 100Mbps to <30 Mbps although it is hardly noticeable. I'm generally satisfied with he reliability and speed despite the occasional drop offs. I would still recommend Vodafone because the service has been good up to now. Time wil ltell.

I'm about to change providers from NOW to Vodafone. Nothing wrong with NOW service or reliability but can get fibre and twice the speed for £10 per month less from Vodafone. Why didn't NOW offer this at the same price?
