Very rarely do Kcom have outages, however the customer service could be better.

KCOM appear to be doing a good job: Reliable service Affordable monthly payments. Reasonable Customer service, slow phone-lines!

Recently, I had a full failure of my KCOM Broadband. The customer service were very helpful, after navigating through the usual connector menu of several options, I spoke with a friendly customer service agent who did a basic base to my home test -then arranged for an engineer to visit my home (within a couple of days) to assess and repair the Broadband service All good and in time for the festive holiday.

Reliability of KCOM is fairly good, in that I've only hadf a gap in service on one occaision, in the last 19 years. Customer Service wise, they are rather slow (although pleasant enough on the phone) so having a Broadband Fibre upgrade is taking at least six weeks, with two seperate visits to the property needed. Although, somewhat frustrated, I am keeping calm about this, as a reduction in monthly bill and an improvement in down/up-load speeds, is something I am looking forward to receiving. Lastly, a tech engineer told me that he is paid fairly well but the employment conditions are poor -So employee retainment must be a problem for KCOM, I guess!
