The hardware is also a strong selling point: Cuckoo broadband includes a high-end WiFi router (an eero Pro 6E) as part of the package, so you don’t have to buy or upgrade a separate kit for a decent home network.
One of Cuckoo broadband's standout features is its transparency and simplicity. Pricing is clearly laid out, setup/installation fees are waived, and contracts are either 12 or 24 months with no hidden first-year discounts that bump up later. Users tend to report great customer service, too: they often highlight that if they do need to call for support, the staff are friendly, responsive and seem genuinely helpful. On the independent review site Trustpilot, for example, the score is around 4.2 out of 5 from several thousand reviews.
There are a few caveats worth bearing in mind. First, the biggest challenge is availability: because Cuckoo only works where full-fibre is already live, if your property is still stuck on copper or a slower fibre-to-cabinet setup, then Cuckoo may simply not be an option. Second, some users have reported booking switches or installations only to face delays or less-than-perfect experiences.
