Additional Comments

The B4RN Social Tariff is based on anyone who can "demonstrate that they receive Council Tax Support", excluding single person discounts and student exemptions. Unlike most mainstream providers, the service remains a full speed 1Gbps symmetric one. Customers must notify B4RN if circumstances change and re-confirm their status every year. You should provide B4RN with a copy of a Council Tax bill as evidence.

B4RN has been brilliant for our rural community. On our new Surface pro we do get very close to the 1GB. Before B4RN we had speeds of less than 5 mbps and if it rained we had none. The difference is amazing. When we recently had work done to the house, we ‘broke’ the fibre connection. Engineers were round that day to fixit. BT usually took a week to come out and even then usually didn’t fix the problem. Digging ourselves was not a down side as met lots of local people and enjoyed it.

The fastest and best broadband in the country, by the people, for the people. As a customer for 6 years I can testify to that. Also a community interest company, employing local people, and a helpdesk and customer club second to none. Worthy award winners in the 'Best rural broadband' category at this year's ISPA awards.
