The last 30 days has seen the Openreach full-fibre footprint grow by 481,178 premises making it a busy month, and the total from the last 3 months is 1,000,260 additional premises ready for service.

Virgin Media is saying its 2 Gbps service is available to over 11,000 premises in Braintree and our footprint tracking confirms this.

The programme to reduce the amount of FTTC connections across the UK and upgrade them to FTTP when people order new connections now has 16 batches of exchanges, with latest batch entering stop sell mode on 26th May 2025.

nexfibre is saying they've passed 1 million premises with their wholesale XGS-PON network and is apparently on track to being the second largest competitive FTTP network in the UK.

The last month has seen us find just shy of 300,000 more properties where Openreach full fibre is available to take the network's footprint to 13,579,874 premises passed.

The towns of Wickersley, Maltby and Dinnington are the latest to be highlighted by Virgin Media O2 as being able to get the full-fibre 2 Gbps service via the wholesale network nexfibre.
