8 days and 8,000 premises added to CityFibre/Vodafone Gigafast full fibre footprint

The UK FTTP story continues with the minor milestone of CityFibre breaking the 150,000 premises barrier over the weekend. The footprint for premises passed is standing at 155,715 premises across 9 cities and is an increase of 8,000 premises in the last eight days.

It is unlikely that we will see this pace of 1,000 premises each day sustained, the longer term growth is running at around 500 premises per day when we look at what has been added in the last four weeks. What we should see in 2020 is a gradual accleration of the pace especially now more areas are being built in at the same time.
