Brixworth has its superfast gaps filled by Gigaclear
We continue to find bits of Gigaclear work under the BDUK projects that is going live and the latest is Brixworth in Northamptonshire where the full fibre service is covering parts of the village that missed out on superfast services via the Openreach network.
There is a lot more Gigaclear build in the design and build stages across the UK but the pace does seem to be picking up, so even if there will be many reading this who feel no progress has been made there are clearly some seeing the service go live. Another area to see extra coverage in the last day was just south west of Bristol where some more premises were added to the existing footprint.
The roll-out of the full fibre service is following a pattern we see repeated in the Openreach and CityFibre Gigafast builds, i.e. there are sometimes premises missed out that subsequently get service built to them. In Brixworth there are a couple of postcodes still showing as the network is under construction so hopefully it won't be long before these are completed.
