Waltham Cross and Wellington now have Gfast broadband

More broadband options as another 27 G.fast pods are in our postcode search and will appear on our maps in the next day or so.

The Lea Valley exchange covering Waltham Cross, Hertfordshire has some 17 G.fast pods that we have spotted, and Wellington, Somerset another 10 pods. The Waltham Cross area already has a widespread Virgin Media footprint, but for those in Somerset this will be the first over 100 Mbps broadband option.

The Openreach ultrafast footprint is sitting at 1,896,571 premises with 1,253,165 of these premises being those with access to G.fast at speeds of 100 Mbps to 330 Mbps.

The 01992 area code which Lea Valley exchange is part of, covers a large area including Waltham Cross, Cheshunt, Hoddesdon Broxbourne, Hertford and as you say some of Essex, Epping and Roydon.

I think you will find Weston-super-mare and Taunton are both in Somerset and both are shown as having access to G.fast on your map. We also have G.fast pods on all the cabinets in Burnham-on-Sea, but as yet they are not showing as activated on the BT broadband checker.

Can you update your broadband checker so that you can subscribe for any changes? I'd like to know when a new provider/service is in my area to provide G.Fast!
