Taunton latest exchange with Gfast in our checker

Another 30 pods of G.fast are in our availability checkers and on the broadband maps, with the impact on the statistics due towards the end of the week.

From our research into the G.fast market we have been marginally surprised that eight of the major comparison websites do not mention G.fast at all and even the Ofcom checker does not seem to be aware of pods that went live as long ago as January 2018. To help those sites that want to market the ultrafast packages there is now a page describing how to use our broadband availability API.

bedrock fttp will be at an address level only - I would expect only fttp in Taunton to be in new build and only part of it if it is where I think you are referring to

The ofcom checker does report FTTP if they know about it with the postcode level check

But for the public it may be confusing as they show ultrafast for FTTP and not superfast + ultrafast and guess which speed most of the public buy either 40/10 or 80/20

I find quite a lot of checkers don't see me as fttp when I do searches.

Btw Andrew on your listings first year cost should be months+installation right. Only a quite check gets me a total that makes no sense
