6 cats talk broadband

We have surveyed 6 out of the 11 million cats in the United Kingdom to learn what is important to the cat population and where we can all improve our broadband usage to make a cats life more pleasant.

  • Fibre cables hurt more than chewing traditional metallic cables can owners please make sure to let us know if any are present in the home
  • Broadband routers with multiple external antenna are a real pain as it is difficult to curl up on them on cold evenings
  • Cats hate box set binges due to being ignored, hence why they pester you so much once into the episode 5 ot 12 in a single sitting
  • 30% of those surveyed have witnessed broadband rage at some point in the last year from their owners
  • 5 out of 6 cats are concerned that their privacy is being invaded via the Internet of Things allowing owners to track them 24/7
  • 42% of those surveyed agreed that there are no cat friendly video games on the market
  • All cats ask if owners can please revert to simple passwords like ABC123 since it is annoying to remember the long complex passwords people use now.
  • Only 1 in 6 cats do not think online shopping and home delivery of groceries is a good idea
  • The majority of those surveyed would like to remind owners to keep their Wi-Fi router clear of clutter since when buried in the TV stack it is very hard to lay on during the cold evenings.

Interesting market research and definitely an improvement in the quality of the insight that it provides compared to recent submissions from City Fibre, Which? and uSwitch!

Wow, TB have gone downhill that they have to post stuff like as news.

Was this news? No, it was satire on the trend for the constant 8 our of 10 surveys that claim to be news.

Satire?
Perhaps on yourselves rather than others. If the constant stream of survey like items that claim to be news are not, then perhaps like this piece you should not bother covering them at all.

Was this news?
Unquestionably NO, though I suspect its more bitterness than satire. Mixed with the odd bit of attention seeking, much like a child throwing a wobbler. Hence why it was slapped on the front page of your site and ironically filed under news.

I suspect this post will be dealt with in similar wobbler fashion.

Put these cats on the ISPR panel - no backhanders then..

How else do you explain how Plusnet get ANY awards!?

Shhhhush about the ISPA awards.

Lets all just get back to rating our ISP's monthly on here, see we can continue the "trend for the constant 8 our of 10 surveys that claim to be news."

It is not at all like Andrew is part of the ISPA awards that in part could "hand out a large trophy once a year" to someone completely different to what the cats actually rate as the best month upon month... Oh hang on, i have satirically gone wrong somewhere there, Oh noes! ;)

I have not seen any of these eight out of ten surveys. Where are they?

  • zyborg47

I’m quite worried about the 30% of the six surveyed. Unless one if the two was a Manx cat with three legs.

Clearly a racist survey, what about dogs?

  • MHMertens

Sample size of 1 dog so excluded from the survey.

New survey shows that at least two out of ten respondents to lighthearted articles like this have absolutely no sense of humour.

  • hungerdunger

The same survey shows at least 1 cat does not comprehend sense of humour along with opinion on articles in general may vary.
