Good news for SAR-715 ownersAt last something slightly positive for users with this ADSL modem/router who have been unable to connect since the Alcatel upgrades at the weekend.
Solwise have copied a post over from their own forums into our DSL Hardware section that you can see here. Essentially it confirms that Alcatel are looking at the problem and may roll back some exchanges to previous firmware code as part of the testing to find out what is causing the problem.
Hopefully all the parties involved have learnt from this problem and will be more cautious with network wide upgrades in the future. The problems of different types of ADSL modem can only get worse as more devices are designed and sold.
