Week 10 - Onto the next stage
It looks like at sometime in the next 24 hours that Todmorden is likely to break its 200 registration threshold, at 8:30pm on Sunday 8th September it is sat at 199 out of 200 registrations. The talk and eyes of the ADSL hungry public, plus hopefully some of the media will now be watching to see what precisely the next stage of the process entails. In theory once the trigger is reached ISPs who have registrations for that exchange should start to call around to people and ask whether they want to place an order (people have upto 6 weeks to decide). If more than 75% of people say yes, then BT will add the exchange to the build list and hopefully it should become ADSL enabled in the next few months.
In other news it appears that a new source of registrations has appearred, it would seem a large ISP is submitting data on an almost real time basis. Registration levels are increasing daily across the board, some of the other top 10 exchanges are only a few weeks behind Todmorden.

The demand has grown now to the extent that all the top 100 exchanges are showing 23% or more of their trigger levels. Our tracker now lists 2012 BT exchanges, with only around 30 of them not having any registrations at all.
