£50 shopping vouchers back at TalkTalk but only on ADSL2+
The TalkTalk shopping voucher cycle has diverged from the normal pattern this week, with the new wave of £50 vouchers that run until 28th January 2016 only applying to the ADSL2+ based services.
The vouchers which are only available online apply to Simply Broadband, Essentials TV and Plus TV, with the basic Simply service also free for 18 months. Voice line rental at £17.70 is required on three packages and the vouchers are also limited to those migrating to TalkTalk - the TalkTalk site suggests only those migrating from BT, Sky or Plus.net are eligible but from our checks it also applies to the wider BT Wholesale range of providers.
The fibre based products which are not eligible for the voucher have also in the last week seen a price increase in the setup fee from £25 to £50 for those ordering a new VDSL2 service.
