£10 Unlimited BT Infinity 1 is back with the bonus of £100 Sainsbury's Gift Card

Once again the unlimited ADSL2+ and Infinity 1 are back to their more popular £5 and £10 per month respective price points and there are also higher value Sainsbury's gift cards available at £50 on the ADSL2+ based services, and Infinity 1,2,3 and 4 services commanding a £100 gift card. The current round of offers end on 23rd November 2015.

All the BT offers require you to pay your voice line rental via BT Retail which is £17.99 per month, or £16.19 if you take advantage of the line rental saver annual payment option.

The price changes filter through to the BT TV packages too, and the TV Entertainment Ultra HD package has had a name change to BT TV Total Entertainment with the Infinity 1 version priced at £25/month for the 12 month contract, and includes 50 premium IPTV channels (13 in HD) in addition to the 80 Freeview channels (12 in HD). The premium channels include AMC HD, Comedy Cental HD, Fox HD, Syfy HD.

Do Infinity 1 packages still definitely offer up to 10Mb/s upload? This information is completely impossible to find on the BT website, which I find both disgraceful, and ironic given that upload speed should be a big selling point of BT over Virgin Media!

The cynic in me wonders if they are planning to reduce it like PlusNet, so they want to remove any mention of upload speed in order to hide the change when it happens.

Yeap still 10 Mbps upload wholesale product.

The 2 Mbps hump on PlusNet is growing wider but no evidence of one at all on BT Retail tests in October 2015.

40/10 has always been the way on BT i think. I know I am now on 80/20 and it's good service :)
